About Me…

Education

I grew up in Alexandria, Virginia and have been dancing and performing since the age of 4. I trained at Metropolitan School of the Arts in the Northern Virginia area through highschool and subsequently continued my education at Oklahoma City University (OCU). At OCU I earned a bachelor’s of Performing Arts in Dance Performance from the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment. There I learned about the interdisciplinary aspects of the Entertainment Industry as well as expanded my skillsets in dancing, singing, acting, choreographing, and teaching.

Performance Credits

My regional credits include the Woodstock Playhouse’s productions of Sweet Charity (Charity Hope Valentine) and Fame as well as the Surflight Theatre’s production of Ebenezer: A Musical Christmas Carol (Mrs. Cratchit). Last summer, I was featured as the lead dancer in the Netflix/Shondaland/Fever immersive production of The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience (Maria) in Washington DC. I am overjoyed to be currently traveling around the country in the National Tour of CHICAGO the musical as Roxie Hart. This show has always been a dream of mine as I love dancing Fosse and look up to the many incredible talents that have played this iconic role.

Teaching/Choreographing

Apart from performing, I enjoy other aspects of the industry. I have taught several genres of dance to all levels and ages having been faculty at Metropolitan School of the Arts and Joy of Dance located in Northern Virginia. To continue sharing my love and knowledge of dance, I joined the Elite Dance Cup Competition judging panel to adjudicate dance students ages 5-18. Creatively, I love to choreograph. My most recent pieces of work are featured in OCU’s Project 21 and Don’t Stop Us Now.

My passions reside in telling stories and in trying new experiences by learning through every new adventure. I feel grateful for the opportunities I have had so far to share my passions and I look forward to what’s to come.
